I'd like to modify my profile (password, personal information, …)
To modify your profile, log into the site, got to your control panel by clicking on "“My Espace”" button at the bottom left of the page, then click on "Edit Preferences". You will be directed to a page that will allow you to make the necessary changes to your profile. Simply click on the "Submit Preferences" button at the bottom when you are satisfied with the corrections you have made.

I forgot my username and/or password
To recover your password, simply click on the "I forgot my password" button at the top of the page, near the login module. Enter your username and an email will be sent to the address you originally registered with. That email will contain your password.

Can I post ads for free?
Yes, all ads posted on espace509.com are FREE. You can post as many ads as you want at any given time and yes, for FREE. You will be notified in advance when this policy changes.

What are the site's terms and conditions?

How do I promote my ads?
There are obviously many ways to advertise your ads by directing traffic to those ads on espace509.com. The most obvious is the good old fashion and proven word of mouth but we suggest that you advertise for your ads by mentioning them as part of your signature at the bottom of your emails and/or by mentioning your username on your business cards. You can also use the “Send to Friend” function to effectively show your ads to your contacts.

What is an ad?
If you have any items you want to sell, services, or requests you would like to make public, creating an ad will allow all visitors of Espace509.com to have access to what it is you have to offer or are requesting. To create an ad you must be registered and logged in. You simply click on "PLACE AN AD" at the top and follow the instructions.

How to add an ad?

1. Go to the homepage of the espace509.com site.
2. Enter your username and password in the "MEMBER LOGIN" section.
3. Click on "PLACE AN AD".
4. Fill out the form fields:
a. Choose a category,
b. Select whether the ad is an offer or a request,
c. Enter the ad title,
d. Enter the price of the article,
e. Enter the description of the article,
f. Attach an image to the ad if desired,
g. Select the Condition (new or used) of the article (if applicable),
h. Enter the year of fabrication of the article (if applicable).
5. Once you've filled out the necessary fields, simply click on “SUBMIT.
6. Your ad has been added to the database. You may now return to the homepage to continue browsing or run a search for your ad using your ad ID# to view your ad "live".

How can I quickly find my ad on espace509.com?
Once you have logged in, you may click on the “My Espace” link at the bottom left of the page to get to your control panel. Once there, simply click on the View My Ads link to see all your ads. Or, if you have not logged in, simply enter your username in the vendor search field on the right of the page. Once you see your username, click on it and all your live ads will show.

I'd like to modify my ad
To modify your ad, you must be logged in. Once logged in, go to the “My Espace” control panel by clicking on the “My Espace” link at the bottom left of the page. Click on View My Ads and then click on the "Edit this ad" link under the ad that you would like to modify. Then simply make the necessary changes to the ad based on the fields available.

How do I mark my ad as “SOLD”?
To mark an ad as “SOLD”, you must be logged in. Once logged in, go to the “My Espace” control panel by clicking on the “My Espace” link at the bottom left of the page. Click on View My Ads and then click on the "Edit this ad" link under the ad that you would like to mark as “SOLD”. Then simply click on the box near the "flag post as SOLD" text near the bottom and click on the "Submit Changes" button.

How do I delete my ad?
To delete an ad, you must be logged in. Once logged in, go to the “My Espace” control panel by clicking on the “My Espace” link at the bottom left of the page. Click on View My Ads and then click on the "Edit this ad" link under the ad that you would like to delete. Then simply click on the box in the "Delete ad" section at the bottom and click on the "Disregard Changes, Delete this Ad" button.

How do I insert or replace an image to my ad?
To insert or replace an image in an ad, you must be logged in. Once logged in, go to the “My Espace” control panel by clicking on the “My Espace” link at the bottom left of the page. Click on View My Ads and then click on the "Edit this ad" link under the ad for which you would like to insert or replace the image. At that point you will have the option to browse the computer you are using for the images you want to add or replace for that particular ad. Remember that the image you chose must be in jpg or gif format and no bigger than 400KB. Otherwise you will not be able to insert it (or replace the current image).

How often are ads updated on espace509.com?
Each ad has a lifetime of three (3) months from the day you post it. You can modify your ad as many times as you want during that time. You are in control. After those three months, the ad is automatically erased from the database and cannot be recalled. We strongly suggest you save the information of your ad(s) somewhere you can copy and paste it back to espace509.com if you chose to.
